Hubby come back from doggies walk this morning fuming, chasing Gizmo around with all their muddy paws. Turns out Gizmo ignore him and just run off dangerously on the road, especially with him being a toy dog, he can easily been run over. Though Gizmo has never been in any training class, he has been very well behave throughout. Unlike Hanzo, he always turn his head and make sure I'm not too far from him before he continue walking and he is never too far from my sight normally. Although as he is teaming up with Hanzo, who loves to chase rabbits, Gizmo discovered a taste for the chase too and whenever he saw one, he'll just run and run after them regardless of what is in his way. No calls or treats or scream will get him back.
Well, sadly he is now grounded..according to my husband who believes the stick rather than carrots. I must look into recall training with him more often and must also bring his favourite toy with me during his walk as a distraction to the tasty rabbits that are lurking around everywhere.
